The Iberdrola Foundation announces new scholarship for postgraduate studies at universities in the United States, to join in the Fall Term of the academic year 2015-2016 in the following areas of knowledge:
renewable energy.
Sustainable energy system.
Environment.
Clean coal and emissions management technologies.
Energy efficiency.
Energy storage.
Electric vehicle.
Smart distribution grid.

grants are aimed at the universities of United States University of Rochester and the University of Maine.
of the Iberdrola Foundation scholarships are intended for students with Spanish or American nationality. Applicants must be in possession of a recognized university degree in degree or master’s degree at the time of the filing of the application. In the event that the applicant is attending the final year in the academic year 2014-2015, the grant will depend to the obtaining of the University in the call for June/July 2015, with the same note half or more than it had at the time of the call.
not are accepted applications on which studies diploma, engineering or technical architecture are credited. The qualification normally required for admission to the universities selected postgraduate programs is a university degree with remarkable Middle note.
language proficiency: applicants must prove an excellent knowledge of English and Spanish through the presentation of a certificate of recognized prestige in the event that these languages are not native.
certificates of English language as non-native language must be renewed every two years:
− TOEFL (minimum score: 95 in Internet based, 240 in computer based or 587 in paper based).
− University of Cambridge: Certificate in Advanced English (grade A or B) and Proficiency.
− IELTS (minimum score: 7).
will be rejected all requests of applicants whose GPA degree or degree is less a: 7.0 in base 10 for Spanish universities or a GPA of less than 3.5 for us universities. Candidates who have been beneficiaries of the Iberdrola Foundation scholarship in ancient calls are excluded from assessment.
the grant will cover the following items:
registration at the University or centre of higher education in the United States, without limitation of amount.
Provision of $ 18,600 per year to cover transport and accommodation costs. This amount shall be paid in 12 monthly instalments of 1,550 euros.
Sickness and accident insurance.
Travel bag 1400 euros for a transoceanic flight of return to carry out the purpose of the scholarship studies.
